Livva Østerby is a danish jewellery designer creating glamorous Fine Jewellery uniting Scandinavian elegance and lush luxury in a unique modern twist of vintage-inspired jewellery.

Inspired by Danish Design's Golden Age, she creates Fine jewellery that unites classic elegance and iconic design with sculptural, lush and sparkling new ideas.

My inspiration
As a Danish jewellery designer, I’ve always been fascinated by earlier design epochs and especially the 1940s and 1950s have a special place in my heart. This period represents the golden age of Danish Design embracing simplicity, functionality, and elegance. At the same time, it is Hollywood’s golden age embracing glamorous and lush sparkling jewellery. This ara also applauses the soft and innocent yet seductive feminine superpower as an interesting counterpoint to today's strong Genderfluid and gender-neutral expression. I love playing with these opposites.

Jewellery should be comfortable to wear while showing some female gloss attitude and I create sophisticated jewellery for the contemporary woman’s special everyday life.

As a jewellery designer, I’m also influenced by my background as a graphic designer and having a soft spot for continuous patterns. Other key elements in my designs right now are twists, soft curves, grooved leaf’s, and vintage updates - all blending down into an unabashed yet simple expression of luxury.

Craftsmanship and materials
By combining modern technology and traditional craftsmanship the goal is to create unique and advanced Danish jewellery designs with high-end refining and finishing by skilled goldsmiths. The use of precious materials such as 18k solid gold, Sterling silver, Top Wesselton diamonds, natural gemstones, and fine saltwater pearls sets a standard always with a focus on the highest quality.

All our jewellery is nickel free and is made of precious metal, stamped and certified correctly:

• Our 18 karat gold jewellery is stamped with "750".
• Our Sterling silver jewellery is stamped with "925".
